Favorite Shots & Sessions 2009 - The Finger Puppets

My first band promo session of 2009 was with Eric and Melissa of the Finger Puppets. Our goal was to capture a wide range of looks over one or two sittings. So we stared in my photo studio, moved to the streets and then did a few more at the recording studio a few days later. Some of the shots ended up in the jacket of their first CD. We especially like the chair at the Third Place Coffee Shop (Glenwood Ave, Raleigh) and thank the owner for allowing us to shoot there.

The Aitken girls (and their parents) came over in December for some portraits.

Their grandmother brought this little beauty and her sister in for portraits this Fall. She was as spunky as she looks so I let her do her thing while I fired away.

Portraits - Children's Portraits Raleigh

I did some portraits of Cassidy today to match some that I have of her sister.

Technical info: Single strobe light camera left in 3' x 4' softbox. White reflector camra right.
