One of the charity organizations I heartily support is Band Together NC. I've been shooting their main events with my son, Andy, every spring. This year, Band Together has set the big hairy audacious goal of raising $500,000 for Alliance Medical of Raleigh. Next year, the recipient will be Urban Ministries (where I work and volunteer).
Take some time to get to know Band Together and attend the Last Band Standing at the Lincoln Theatre on April 8. Then buy a VIP ticket for the Main event on May 7, featuring Third Eye Blind.
