My friends at Hey-Bro Productions produced the The Second Carolina Bluegrass Festival last weekend in Cary at the Koka Booth Amphitheater. Despite a morning of torrential rain and chilling temperatures, hundreds of faithful music fans endured the elements to hear 9 hours of the best bluegrass around. Performers for the day were Al Batten and the Bluegrass Reunion, No Strings Attached, IIIrd Tyme Out, Doyle Lawson & Quicksilver, Rhonda Vincent & the Rage, The Tony Rice Unit, and The Del Mcoury Band.The festival raised money for Stop Hunger Now.
